Terms of Service
The rules that govern access to and use of the CastSides production and casting management platform.

Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Hartvest Cycle Inc., operator of CastSides. By accessing CastSides, signing in, accepting an invitation, or submitting a public production form, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use CastSides for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization.
The CastSides service
CastSides provides tools for organizing productions, departments, crew, castings, participants, check-in, evaluations, assignments, results, invitations, and related communications. CastSides is an administrative platform; it is not a talent agency, employer, casting director, producer, legal advisor, or guarantor of selection, employment, compensation, or production outcomes.
Accounts and access
Workspace access may require a verified Google account and an invitation or existing CastSides registration. You must provide accurate information, use your own identity, protect your account and devices, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You may not share access or attempt to enter organizations, productions, castings, or records for which you have not been authorized.
Responsibilities of organizations and production administrators
Organizations and production administrators are responsible for their productions, form questions, consent language, invitations, role assignments, access permissions, casting decisions, communications, and lawful use of submitted information. They must obtain all permissions and releases required for auditions, photographs, recordings, publicity, employment, volunteer activity, and participation, and must restrict access to people with a legitimate production purpose.
Minors
A parent or legal guardian must complete or authorize submissions for children under 13 and provide any verifiable consent required by law. Users under the age of legal majority may use CastSides only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian when required. Production administrators are responsible for configuring an appropriate minor-consent age and obtaining any additional releases or verification required for their production and jurisdiction.
User and production content
You retain the rights you hold in information, text, photographs, logos, questions, notes, and other material submitted to CastSides. You grant Hartvest Cycle Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve CastSides and to make it available to authorized users in the relevant workflow. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit and use the material.
Acceptable use
You may not use CastSides to violate law or another person's rights; collect information without required notice or consent; harass, discriminate against, exploit, or endanger anyone; upload unlawful, deceptive, malicious, or infringing material; probe or bypass security; disrupt the service; scrape or resell data; impersonate another person; or use production records for an unrelated purpose.
Privacy and consent
Our Privacy Policy explains how CastSides handles personal information. Production-specific consent terms may also apply to a participant or crew submission. Those production terms are provided by the responsible organization and do not replace this agreement or the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
CastSides relies on third-party services, including Google, Vercel, Supabase, Cloudinary, and Resend. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we select providers to support the operation of CastSides.
Availability and changes to the service
We may maintain, update, add, remove, limit, or suspend features to protect users, comply with law, improve the service, or address operational issues. During testing or preview periods, features may change and interruptions may occur. We do not promise that CastSides will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect people or data, comply with law, address security risks, or enforce these terms. Organizations may remove members and production assignments. You may stop using CastSides and may contact us regarding account deletion, subject to legitimate retention obligations.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, CastSides is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. Nothing in CastSides constitutes legal, employment, casting, safeguarding, or professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hartvest Cycle Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, goodwill, or production outcomes arising from CastSides. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as CastSides or applicable requirements change. Revised terms will be published with a new effective date, and additional notice will be provided when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms. Contact us with questions about these terms.
